This is a very competent editor. The developer is constantly working on this app. He is either tweaking the performance, adapting it to a new IOS or adding new capabilities. As mentioned by another reviewer, this app is truly a labor of love for the developer. The app continually grows and improve with time. I find myself deleting apps, that I never thought had an expiration date. If you are looking to save high resolution files for print, this is simply a must have.

Impressive App
Great app for black and white (and more)
At first I saw this as only a b&w app, but if you dig in you will find all kinds of useful editing tools. This app has really grown on me. Give it a try, I do t think youll be disappointed.

LineEngraver seems to be a labor of love. The developer often makes updates to fine-tune the experience. The app is pleasant with a good range of preset effects, all of which can be further tweaked by the user. I enjoy experimenting with photos in my archives, finding those with good grey scale potential. This is one of my primary iOS photography apps.

Pleasant to use with a good range of preset effects, all of which can be further tweaked by the user. I enjoy experimenting with photos in my archives, finding those with good grey scale potential. For serious work, however, I still go to Photoshop on my PC since this app does not have tools to adjust specific spots or selections within an image. Also, this app appears to have a maximum 3840 x 3840 resolution on my iPad Pro and will downsize files that exceed those dimensions.

LineEngraver opens up a new set of doors in regards to photography. Theres so much more you can do with just Monochrome that I never knew you could do. This app is worth the price and it engulfed me more into photography and Im sure it will engulf others as well.
